SADS are delighted to report a sell-out success of our production of Oliver! at Wadhurst Commemoration Hall. Over 1,500 people enjoyed this wonderful musical by Lionel Bart in this hugely entertaining show.
This was during half-term week which meant that audiences could bring brothers, sisters and friends of the cast to our three matinées. Audiences who came to the six evening shows enjoyed a hot 2-course meal in the interval.
The 10-piece orchestra led by Robin Hare played the melodies and accompaniments to perfection which helped to create a wonderfully atmospheric show. All performers, both principals and chorus, showed great commitment during the long rehearsal schedule and their hard work and enthusiasm on stage paid off in abundance to the delight of audiences.
